Privacy Policy

Auto Invoice Generator is built local-first: the app is designed so that your business data never needs to leave your computer. This policy explains, plainly, what the software does and doesn't do with data.

What stays on your device

• Invoices and client details — everything you type into the app is stored only on your computer. There are no accounts and no sync servers.
• AI processing — the built-in assistant runs open-weights AI models locally on your hardware. Documents you give it and text you type are processed on your machine and are never sent to us or to any AI provider.
• Settings and drafts — stored locally by the app.

The few network connections the app makes

• Optional AI model download — if you choose to enable AI, the app downloads a model file from a public model repository (e.g. Hugging Face). This is a plain file download; no personal data is sent.
• License activation — when you activate, the app sends your license key and an anonymous device identifier (a one-way hash; it does not reveal your hardware or identity) to our licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy, to validate the key. Periodic revalidation sends the same.
• Update checks — the app may check a static file on our site to learn whether a newer version exists. No personal data is sent.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Your payment details go to them, not to us; their privacy policy applies to checkout. We receive your email address and license information so your key can be issued and supported.

What we don't do

• No analytics or telemetry inside the app.
• No selling, sharing, or advertising use of any data — we don't have your data.
• No tracking cookies on this website.

Your choices & contact

You can use the entire product except license activation with the network disconnected. To deactivate a device, use Settings → License in the app. For anything privacy-related, email info@autoinvoicegen.com.
